Please note that ALL candidates must pass the Theory test before taking their practical driving test -- the Theory test can be taken ONLINE. The theory test is made up of two parts; the multiple choice part and the hazard perception part. You'll need to pass both parts to pass the theory test.
The multiple choice part consists of 50 multiple choice questions and you have 57 minutes to complete the test. The pass mark is 43 out of 50.
The hazard perception part is a computer based test to assess how well you can recognise and respond to hazards on the road. The pass mark for the hazard perception test for car drivers is 44 out of 75.
